CANDLE CARE TIPS

BEST PRACTICES

  1.  The first burn is the most important!!

  2. If the wax is not allowed to melt from edge to edge of the jar it will create a “memory ring,” especially if this is the first time the candle is lit. FYI- Once a candle has this “memory ring,” it will continue to tunnel and burn that way for the life of the candle.

  3. Make sure your wick is centered, if it is off gently pull it back to the middle while the candle is not lit.

  4. Using a wick trimmer or a pair of scissors, trim your wick to ¼ of an inch before lighting your candle, every time.

  5. Trimming helps to lessen the soot (black smoke) & mushrooming of the wick.

  6. Make sure there are no debris, soot, wick trimmings in the candle before lighting.

  7. Allow candles to burn for 2-4 hours to get the best experience.

  8. The smaller the candle, the less fragrant it may be.  If you aren’t getting a strong enough smell, try placing your candle in a smaller room

  9. Don't forget to check out suggested songs on the fragrance page, light your candle and ENJOY THE VIBES!!!

SAFETY PRACTICES

  1. Never leave a candle unattended and keep it out of reach of children and pets.

  2. Keep your candle away from ceiling fans, high traffic areas, and vents, to avoid the breeze drafting the flame.

  3. Candles should not be burned for more than four hours at a time.

  4. Extinguish and let cool for two hours before relighting.

  5. Discontinue use when ½" of wax remains at the bottom of the jar to avoid heat damage to the counter/surface or container itself.

  6. Always store your candle cool, dry, dark place.
